Really great work, great body work, paint and mechanicals. Seems the 70 model would be the perfect mix between early and intermediate models.
Got a 64 I got to get back to work on and a 55 M38A1. With work, I only get to work on them in Spring and Summer. Looking forward to making mine look half as nice as that.

Thanks for posting, great Jeep, really outstanding.

Novak is great company to work with! I called about the slave cylinder i had purchased over 5 years ago and they replaced it for the price of shipping!
    This is a nice piece!

I just ordered my seats, (Corbeau Baja JP Seats). Black vinyl with grey cloth inserts.
    http://www.corbeau.com/products/suspension_seats/baja_jp/
should be here tomorrow. As soon as get them then i need to start fabricating my roll cage with built in seat brackets.
I finished painting hood and front fenders and tail gate, now i need to color sand and install.

Great Job! That's an awesome feeling when you hear it run again. Are you starting from scratch on the roll cage?

I'm not sure yet. I was going to build a new family cage with integrated seat mounts. Now I'm just considering adding on the seat mounts to my exsisting roll cage, to save time.

    I'm such an idiot!!!!!!!!!
I got my new seats in and went and started mocking them up, and I'm such an idiot!.........I was going to do the fender well notch while it was torn down and I forgot! now I need to go back and cut the rear fender up and weld them, then I need to re-shoot the lizard skin, both on inside and bottom of rear fenders! I'm such an idiot! I really didn't want to cut and weld and paint around the new paint on the body. I have positioned the seats in every possible location and there is no way to get them far enough back without cutting fenders to be comfortable.

Crap! Get some welding blankets or canvas drop cloths to cover body and you should be fine. I hate set backs like that, but you know you won't be happy without the notch. Regarding your cage...I would make a family cage if that's what you want. It will take more time, but you will be glad when its done. There were a few items that I neglected to do on my Jeep in order to save time and keep the project moving, but in the end I went back and made it the way I wanted. No time saved in the long run and once the Jeep is done the last thing you want is to re-do something.

Welcome to the club Rob... I know I have been there. I keep a check list of the 'FAB' items and make sure I review add and modify it now on a regular basis. I won't say it's stopped all of those moments, but I know it's saved me from a couple of them.

I've had a lot of time away from two builds I have in process, glad I have them for getting back in the swing of things.

Pielut, I started my wheel well notch. It took me a couple days to talk myself into cutting into it!
I know what your talking about when you say It might take longer but ill be happier in the long run. every time i do something to save time, i end up going back and undoing what i have done because im not happy with it and doing it the right way.
