after finding measurements online I determined that the front cowl was pushed back about 1-3/4", and twisted toward the passenger side about 1-5/8". you can see where the body buckled right below the doors on both sides. this is also where the frame broke.

didn't get any pictures of replacing the panels, but here are the panels installed with the cutouts for the new Haggin flush mount tail lights. the whole at the bottom is for the fuel fill.

The Haggin tail lights are pretty kool. They are a red lens that glues in from behind them they are sanded flush with the body and then painted over and cleared. You cant see them unless the lights or brakes
    are on.

WOW! hadn't realized how long it has been since last update. I've been busy with work, and only been able to do the little things prior to paint.
I have welded all holes shut that are not being used on the inside of the tub, and bondoed over so everything is nice and smooth. Then I seam sealed inside and on the bottom.I then primed inside and bottom.
Then I sprayed the inside with Lizard skin sound control. This needs to set for 24hrs, then I can go back over with Lizard skin ceramic insulation. Then flip it over and do under side.

Ok, its been awhile since I have updated this thread. I have been working slowly at sanding....more sanding......and even more sanding......for those of you who do paint and body work for a living, you have my respect! I'm to much of a perfectionist to do this for anyone else!
I have also been working on a new project that followed me home, a 1985 cj7!
