    Classic Enterprises.
Might try a search. This has been covered a lot and past info can be helpful.

If I had your 3B, I would just weld in some sheet metal to get me by. From you pics, you are going to have a lot more rust repair down the road if your intent is some sort of restoration, and at that point, you may decide to go for another tub. In the interim, just make it useable and use it!

Think 14 guage steel with 1" x 2" x 1/8" rectangular tubing to replace the hat channels. A plasma cutter is your friend. A wirefeed welder is a absolute must have. If taking the whole floor out at one time then weld stringers criss-cross to hold everything in place while you are working on it. Best to do it with the tub flipped upside down, but can still be done on the frame.

14 gauge, holy cow! The original steel is more like 18. Even 20 would be ok. If you need to save money, use found materials and patch it up. You can use old washing machines and such, and it will be fine. You will spend more time cleaning any paint from the found materials, but if you can get them clean, they will work fine. If you have a brake, you can make your hat channels in sections and weld them together. Or you can use rectangular tubing as Daryl suggests, but I expect it will be harder to find that cheaply.

Or if you are looking to do it on the cheap, cut the top off of a DJ5 Mail Jeep as there is plenty of good steel there. The two roof bows are almost perfect replacements for the hat channels in the floor. I have bought many entire DJs for less then $100.

That's a good suggestion. Look around, be resourceful.
