    All,

I'm in need of some new motor mounts, and have figured out that the mounts and brackets I have are something thrown together from who knows where, so I'm looking replacing them with Novak mounts mmx-nc1 http://www.novak-adapt.com/catalog/engine_mounts/mmx-nc1.htm. For all my searching (forum and web), I've found tons of mentions of these, but no pictures of the new style installed for a v6. Maybe I just haven't gotten the hang of searching the forum yet.

Can anyone here share pictures of these installed on their rig?

From the "that'll do it" department, I was troubleshooting my brakes when I noticed that the current mounts had sagged enough to allow the driver's side exhaust to flatten the brake line against the frame. So with the mounts and a piece of brake line,
    it'll be a two-fer.

    thanks,

Knowing the year of Jeep and what V-6 you have/are installing is helpful

Just an FYI, signatures don't show up on I-phones and many other non desktop access points. Putting the info in your post also eliminates confusion. We have no way of knowing if what's in your sig is what you are working on.
Also, you posted in the Intermediates section which is '72-'75 although we allow '76 up in that section as well. Posting in the wrong forum creates further confusion ;). I will move it for you....

    V6 didn't show up in the CJ5 until 1966.
Which means that who ever put the V6 in probably got a kit from some one. The small block Ford and Chevy were very popular conversion choices, and you could pick up the motor mounts from JCWhitney and other places. Not trying to be snide or nothing, although I do come off that way a lot, seems. Just suggesting that you may have a multitude of choices for the motor mounts and you may want to go for the most heavy-duty ones you can find.
