How to Remove the Spindle Thrust Washer

    I'm trying to remove the spindle thrust washer, the one that sits inside the outer bore on the axle flange. Its in there pretty tight, how have y'all pulled it out?

    If its the plastic style and you aren't reusing it a sheet metal screw into the plastic and a pair of pliers works well. If you want to save it a pick or small screw driver works for me. Same with the bronze/brass washers.
