I finally am getting close to having a running Jeep... I have three CJ5 now. Just bought a 63 tux CJ5 that a guy had in pieces original motor and tranny, column shift. The body is shot and there was no title but I have two other jeeps for parts. The frame has been heavily welded on because the PO had a large heavy snow plow on it. I would like to use the motor in another frame but the mounts have been removed from the frame, has anyone put mounts back on a frame and can you buy them somewhere? Thanks for any help.

If you're talking about the frame mounts you usually need to get them from a used frame. They were riveted from the factory. Might put an ad in the classifieds and also check out the vendors section. Someone may be re popping them but I'm not aware of that.

That would be the ones I am after, I thought about taking them out of the donor jeep the motor is coming out of but they are in pretty rough shape.

I'd suggest putting a wanted ad in the Classifieds, that's why it's there;) . Someone may have some good ones they've taken off a frame or have a frame they are scrapping.

Yup - WTB is your best option. I have pulled tons of these off in the past and sold them off to folks needing them. I don't have any right now though, I'll keep an eye out.

Thanks, plan on pulling set off of frame that is trashed and possibly making my own. If the metal beats me you will definatly see WTB listing. Thanks again.
