10si or 12si alternator on dauntless

I have never tried it out, I got a good deal on it and just keep it in the truck, just in case. I will have to hook it up and see.

So just to confirm. I do not have a winch or offroad lighting yet and do not want to be short power down the road when I do those upgrades. So ok to have a alt higher than 63amps now?

 

Yes. Higher is good as you will less likely overtax it. It won't have to work as hard so will typically last longer. Doesn't mean you need a hugely high amp expensive unit, but if close to same money you can get higher output that is a good thing. You may even notice better performance from your electrical devices like wipers, heater fan, headlamps, etc.

 

Nice looking....is that a inline fuel pressure gauge?
