In my 57 cj5, aren't the driveshaft to axle U-Joints 1310? If so, would a front driveshaft from an early K5 Blazer work in the rear location on my peepster? (assuming it is cut to lenght) I believe the early Blazers were 1310.

Looking for some more mojo without spending the money for a customer shaft. As with most of my projects, horsepower continues to increase as the build moves along.

The 57 should be 1310's so yes, if that's what the Blazer uses it should work.

    It's a 1970 CJ w/V6 and a rear Dana 44 30 spline flanged axle.

The rears will be the same as all the rest, 1310 series, Spicer # 153x. The fronts if the propellor shaft hasn't been changed is smaller. I don't remember the # offhand but a search for "V-6 u-joint" should bring that up. The 4 cylinder Early's used the same front joints as the rear.

I found NAPA rear u-joint for my 1970 CJ w/V6 and a rear Dana 44 30 spline flanged axle. It's a part #P369, also labelled 045450 Made in China. Is this a fit but a piece of crap? I don't like buying stuff made by 4 year olds.
