I currently have the stock setup on my 70 cj5. 5 wheel manual dual master cylinder drum brakes.

I'm wanting to upgrade to some power brakes, and some disc brakes up front.

I was wondering if anybody knew if this system would work in my cj5, I can't tell the brand or make, only that it was used in CJ7 previously. I know I will have to get new pedals but those should be easy to find.

    Thanks for your time

The master cylinder will be calibrated for 4 wheel disc. It may or may not work well. If not the mc will need to be swapped out. Only way to know is try it. The booster should work very well. It's a dual diaphragm unit and will provide a lot of stopping assist.

Thanks for the input, I'm sure i'll have other tweaks to do, but I figured by purchasing this was one step in the right direction to a brake upgrade
