What are these power locks???

What are these? stock? If stock what years? Front /rear?

 

Factory limited slip used in all the major American manufacturer's (and some minor and overseas like Volvo and Jaguar). They could be had for Dana 25, 27, 30, 44, 45, 60, and 70 front and rear differentials that I know of. Maybe others. Common axle/side gear spline counts are 10, 16, 23, 19, 27, 30, and 35. Used from the 40's and still available for Dana 44 in the aftermarket for sure. Possibly 30 and 60 but not sure on those.

Cool so what's the chances of finding one or 2 for my old whip I have d25 front and narrow d44 rear tapered?

 

25 would be 10 spline. These are getting scarce but do pop up now and again. The rear 44 you need to know whether 10 or 19 spline. 10 spline are very scarce, 19 spline are around. You also need to know what gear ratio you have. I'm guessing 4.27 or 5.38 but you need to check.

 

Yeah I have 5:38 I know of a couple of these around my area mayb I'll run around pulling the covers
