    Also they probably could not use the slat grill for copyright issues.

    Perhaps, but my guess is that machine weighs just about half what a Rubi does and it is certainly not over-powered.

    Standard repi-tub? Not much need for that brake master cylinder access cover. My take on those is that most of us could build it for around 15-20k and end up with a far superior machine.
