231 Buick

    Pick up my 231 Buick motor-1979-I know I need a bellhousing and flywheel but do I need any adapter plates
    any imput would help, it's going into a Cj3a thanks

    What transmission are you planning on using? Stock t-90 or something different?

    You will need the long input shaft for your T-90, which was used stock in the I-6 Willys Wagons and Pickups, an adapter to go from the T-90 case to GM bellhousing, and the front bearing retainer to match the adapter. Obviously motor mounts, wiring, exhaust, cooling system, linkages, etc. will need attention also.
