Clutch/brake pedal return springs

    That's a cool idea. My Jeep needs a spring - I will try it!

    Great idea, just stress the importance of handling this spring safely. The power of a stretched spring like that could do some damage. Safety glasses are an absolute must.

    yup gloves too ive seen air brake can springs tear through a steel buliding nasty

    Eye protection and I used leather gloves to handle the assembly

    Tim did you ever do this and have the same results? My spring broke and I found this thread.
    Mine is working fine without that spring. All my linkage and other springs are new. My pedal returns like it should with the correct free play.
