Hey guys, I just picked up a nice stainless 3A style windshield for my project... Its outer frame seems to be made of stainless bar stock, with a nice stamped skin, without a center vent. It is all morror finish except the front side., which is brushed stainless except the inset areas which are still mirror finish. I can't find any trademarks to ID where it came from.. Does anyhonje know if Jewels marked their stuff??

Also I am looknig for a good set of bottom mount electric wipers for this....are there any GOOD ones out there that will hold up for more than a week or two? The ones on it have issues, one won't stay attached, the other has had a meltdown. Neither looks very well made.

I might be able to get a pic in a few days, right now it is packed up with some other stuff until I get it home.

There's a local guy selling a stainless w/s frame by Jewels. Might contact him for more info. I recognize the phone #. His name is Guy Armitage.
There's another guy in Camas/Washougal, WA that sells Jewels as well periodically. I think he might be a dealer but can't find an ad for him.

Not all Jewels parts were stamped so you pretty much need to be familiar with Jewels in order to identify the parts.
Yes the 3A frame is solid bar stock also the frame will have the door channels but no top channel.
The W/S glass opening will be about 1" narrower than a standard 3A.

This one has a bolted on top channel (for the front of a vinyl top to slide into) and the windshield appears to be a stock size. Wiper motors say USA on them....and no Jewels stamp anywhere that I can find. Now I need to figure out how to push out the one dent above the glass and how to sand and polish out the scratches here and there on it.

By 1" narrow I specifically meant the width of the WS glass.

Yup, the glass (with rubber) is stock width. (I was not able to pop the rubber and measure a stock glass so I figured the width with rubber included would be an accurate enough measure..)
