So I installed a Mustang/Falcon radiator a couple years ago, but last week the upper tank split from the core. I decided to try an aluminum radiator, and got this one from http://www.reliableradiator.com/servlet/StoreFront
It's a two row with 1" tubes. Looks good, and so far (I put it in last night so I only have about 30 miles on it) it runs 5-10° cooler depending on vehicle speed and ambient temp.

Which model number was that? I was looking for something as a backup for the niece's build and like the looks of that.

    Patrick,
Does it look like the original fan would fit behind the new rad?

What electric fan do you have mounted behind yours?

One more, what brand/color of engine paint did you use?

Looks great!!! And, that price is impossible to beat!!!

The mechanical fan would hit the lower hose bib on this radiator. The electric is a Flex-a-lite IIRC, 2500cfm.
The engine paint is Duplicolor Detroit diesel Alpine Green.

Those are the brackets/ tabs it came with. The tubes are brazed, no epoxy. I talked to Michael on the phone at Reliable radiator. He was very helpful and friendly. He even called to find out the core thickness for me and called right back.

Not really. This one is about 3/16" thicker than the Mustang radiator I just took out. Other than that, everything is the same as before.
