The M38a1's dash is taller than the civilian CJ5. Do you have any issues with this height? Do you hit your knees or shins on it? Or do your passengers have issues? I am fabbing a new dash and was considering the differnces.

Actually it's lower :). The ones I've driven weren't an issue but I have short legs and my knees don't reach the dash so no issue

I'm 6' and with S-10 seats, I still don't hit the dash. Come to think of it. I have never hit the dash with my legs.

I've never noticed it as any inconvenience. Bear in mind the military seats are minimal, and may allow more space than the civvie type.
