Rear diff locking hubs

    Hi;
    Just curious,(may be my next project) hav 60 cj5 stock. What would need to be replaced to make the rear axle (mod 44) with locking hubs,(would be great 4 towing) Could some parts be scrounged from junk yard;any thoughts on the cost? Thank You.

    That's a full floater kit, new axles etc. way stronger.

    Yup, FF kit. Hermtheoverdriveguy.com has them and R&P is working on an even stronger setup using Dana 60 locking hubs and bearing hubs that can be had in 5, 6, or 8 lug versions. 503-557-8911. I believe there is a writeup in the tech section and I know Dr. Vern has one on his website vernco.com
