Coolant Leak

    Haven't torn into this problem yet ... what possibilities am I facing here?

    Hoping it's the bushing or the hose and not something worse:

    I'd check that bypass hose first of all. Then go from there. Looks like the thermostat housing may have been leaking too at some point judging by the rust stains

    That hose fitting going into the intake is a standard item and I would replace it along with the hose.

    I agree. I'd use brass instead of steel as well. Tends to seal a bit better and much easier to remove if ever you need to.

    +1 i would give it a good dose of aerokroil if you can find it. (best stuff i have ever used but u usually can only get it industrially). if not pb blaster would be next soak it a few times, then replace place with brass and make sure u use some teflon tape
