fuel pump

    Can a fuel pump go bad from siting for 2 yrs ?:v6:chainsawguy:flag:

    Sure can. It has a plyable diaphragm that dries up and cracks.

    Uh huh. The check valves can get sticky and the diaphragm can dry out and crack allowing fuel into the crank case.

    ok getting a new one today.This one is not pumping gas i can crank and maybe 3 tsp come out :)

    When you take your line off the pump to the tank, make sure fuel will drain out. You could have a plugged filter and or line.
