Hi i have a question about my fuel lines.I have a stock 67cj5 225 and the lines when i got the jeep were coming out of the tank under the seat and running along the drivers side up to the fuel pump.Question is they now come from underneath where is see all other come from over the top and run along the passanger side.Well from coming up will it make a differance in the motor getting gas or should i run them coming from the top and down to the fuel pump thank you.:flag::v6:chainsawguy

Might try breaking your question and post up into different sentences. It's extremely hard to read and understand what you are saying and asking in one long run-on sentence. I'm not trying to be mean or anything but that's one of the reasons I didn't answer. I couldn't delineate what you were saying, asking, or giving for information. I'm guessing that others are having the same issue.

Yes I have the same issue. What I will say is to run your fuel line as directly from the tank to the fuel pump as possible. For under seat tank and mechanical pump, that would be along the drivers side. Steel line as much as possible. Return line if you are using one will run the same.

You want to keep as much of the metal fuel line away from heat as much as possible. The ones you see running over the top of the engine and go directly to the carb are running electric fuel pumps. If you are running a mechanical pump, you will want a short piece of rubber fuel line between engine vibration and where the steel line is fastened to the frame.

No problem, looks like Walt was able to help out. Might try breaking up the sentences into different lines to make them more understandable. For example:

I have a (insert vehicle here)
It has a (insert info here)
    I've seen (insert info here)
Is this a problem, ok, etc.

This would help readers of your post and you wouldn't have to worry about sentence structure, punctuation, etc. and would get you more replies I'm sure.
