I just bought a 1964 CJ5 Jeep as a parts vehicle. It came with an extra transmisson and it has T90a1 WG Div N-2 and a cast date of D29-4. I have been told it is a 1964 column shift transmisson. Are these year model transmissons worth any more than a standard T-90?

    Thanks

Dont know. It came with the transfer case as well. How would I know it was sitting inside the back of the Jeep as a spare part.

The T-90 side shift was also used in some Tux Parks CJ5's. As far as being worth more than a standard cane shift, well that depends on what a buyer is willing to pay.

If it has the "long" input shaft then most likely it was from a wagon or pickup. If short then most likely CJ. The CJ one would be more desireable to someone restoring a column shift CJ, but you need to find the right buyer. Worth more? Depends on condition and if you find the right buyer.
