That turbo was off of a 2.0-2.2 liter motor, he later removed the intercooler and the blow off valve and said it gave about another 1-1/2lbs of boost. That turbo was probably pretty close to whats on a VW TDI. If you listen o nthe video his turbo is spooled up at probably around 2500rpm or so. It actually spools up quite fast.

from what i have heard LIG made just under 100hp na he was looking at a dodge 2.2 aswell.
i have a plymouth/dodge 2.2 na as a daily (210,000 mi!!!) and the na tbi is a single barrel and an adapter plate would be fairly simple. my only concern is the dodge revs much higher than my huricane and i don't think a turbo off a dodge would be appropriate for the jeep. the dodge 2.2 flows more air and has more compression, the jeep would need pressure off the turbo sooner. but the dodge/plymouth is a reliable fuel system. na at least :D

In my application it would only need to produce 4 to 6 lbs at anything between 1800 and 3 grand on the tach.

Thinking on it, Wonder if you could take a turbo apart, and adapt a pulley to the drive side and run it as a type of supercharger that way. built driven off the crank pulley.

A turbo needs to spin at 1000's of rpm compared to a roots type blower running at several 100rpm. The turbo wheel is way to small to produce pressure spinning slow.
