    What Timgr said.
I looked for 5 years for mine that is virtually rust free but has one cracked glass and was missing a few parts that are fairly available. Paid $275 for it at a swap meet and as I was carrying it away a guy offered me $350 on the spot. I told him no way. That was around 7 years ago.

That's funny about the height thing, that's how I got mine! I went to look at some parts a guy had, and noticed the windshield on his project Jeep. I mentioned how I'd love to find one like it, and he mentioned how he DIDN'T like it because he was too tall for it and couldn't see very well. He then asked how my windshield was condition-wise, and asked if I'd like to trade. Well, yeah, sure! I'll trade ya!

I think he's a member here, or used to be anyway. Seems like Sparky knows him personally.

Actually someone is selling NOS parts. It's the dude I bought my inner frame to outter frame seal from.

At least a couple years ago he had them. I think he was asking $750 for a bare inner frame. I think to get a fully functional vented windsheild from him it was going run a big pile of money.

His name starts with a D or something. I'll remember it....................

I remembered it. Dude's name is Peter Debella.........Course I'm in after Nikmil and Chris posted but at least I remembered.........

Yup, talked to him a few months ago and he's very proud of what he's got judging from the asking price. I didn't think to ask if they were complete units, though...

I can see getting one at a swap meet, but it would take your lunch money for a fair amount of time to ship one of these things. They are pretty heavy! I keep kicking mine around from place to place and I go find a wagon to move it with.

I got mine from a dude here (Spud IIRC) and I think shipping to Florida was not to bad. It was the complete windshield, including the glass. It was packed in a flat box. I forgot who the carrier was but the shipping was not bad.

I think his handle was jimmy hat. Seems like he said something about drinking all your beer, or vice versa.
