Looks custom built to me. I really like the large side windows of that.
Most boat upholstery shops can build one but $$$.
Never seen a soft top for a '6 quite like that but me likey.

I'm going to venture a WAG here but from the shape of the rear wheel openings I'd say that jeep is from South America or Africa.

The top itself seems very much like the original style seven piece factory soft tops, it may actually be a "factory" piece, just not the factory you'd normally think of.

FWIW there's a couple of sources making tops like that, cruise arounf the CJ3B site & you'll find references to them. You might be able to get one made up if you got the $$$.

My friend has a 1963 Nissan Patrol, and needs a soft top. There are zero sources for off the shelf. We have a canvas shop here that ships to farmers and other businesses around the world. He was quoted $1,200 for a decent material with clear windows. He went with $1,500 for "Sunbrella" fabric to withstand the elements better.

Just looked at the pic again and it looks like front CJ or YJ flare turned around backwards on the rear. If you look close you can see the raised portion that would match the raised portion on the front of the fender facing the rear of the Jeep....

I'm not seeing it. Looks like a YJ rear application flare.

Look at the very back of the flare on the bottom corner. Looks like the portion that matches the body line on the bottom front of a front fender from a CJ or possibly YJ. Picture that flare turned around and put on the right front fender.
Also I just noticed the flare covers up a portion of the indention for the stock top where the bows would attach. Very similar to the way the TJ flares cover that area up on my '6 on the rear.

Just looked again and it looks like the flare on the rear comes down too far to be a front flare. Very interesting. I've never seen a YJ flare with that body line before in a rear application.

I'm glad you said that. I was getting a headache staring at it.:D

Maybe not a YJ. My point was that it's a "squared" rear flare, like a YJ, rather than a differently shaped import/ export fender opening..;)

    Glad I could help!R)

I still think it's a front flare from the body line on the "rear" of the flare. Just not sure what application though. Not CJ or YJ or TJ.

Having looked at it a bit more I think you're right, it looks like someone opened up the rear a bit for tire clearance & squared it off to fit the flare.

Oh well, it was a nice theory while it lasted.

I think that flare is from an XJ.
