I have a Dana 27 now that I put the Chevy disc brakes on. Will that same setup bolt up to a drum Dana 30 out of a 73 CJ? Is $200.00 a good price for the axle?

$200 is an OK price. for comparison I paid $350 for a disk D30 and a D44 both with lunchbox lockers.

I gave away my original D30 with 11" drums.

Yes. There is some grinding to do on the knuckle to clear the caliper. To do it "right" to clock the caliper correctly you should redrill the caliper bracket or the knuckle to rotate the bracket up exactly halfway between the existing caliper bracket mounting holes. This will allow minimal grinding on the knuckle, clock the caliper so there are no shock mount/balljoint clearance issues, and put the bleeder valve at the optimum angle.
