75 CJ cowl = 76 CJ cowl?

    I'm looking for a new cowl for the project, however the only repro production pieces I can find are for 76-86 cjs and not early 5s. I'm just wondering if they are different or the same? I'm thinking they're different as I believe the latter windshields are swept back more. Any thoughts?

    Cowls are different. The air inlet for the heater is different and it uses different windshield hinges. I believe the holes for the defroster are in a different location as well. Can't answer if the seems are different where the cowl mounts to the tub sides. I know the firewall is significantly different as well so that "could" be an issue.
