    i have installed one in my 3b i rebuilt it with new input 3/4 sincro assembly 3rd gear. it pops out of 4th can a worn shift tower cause this?mine is real sloppy,feels like it has no detents.i can drive in 4th with a little pressure on the stick to keep it in gear, rigged a bungy strap to the seat. i would like to fix it right but cant find a tower or parts to rebuild it.any ideas?

    The shift tower can cause an issue like that as can a bad pilot bearing/bushing, input bearing, synchroniser assembly, etc. You might contact Herm Tilford at ATV Manufacturing aka hermtheoverdriveguy as he does a bit with these transmissions.
