Price check, isle 3... CJ5 Roll Cage

    got a lead on a roll cage made from a CJ5 bar and front hoop kit. four top cross bars $250. reasonable price?

    I paid 150$ for the kit to turn my rollbar into a cage (front hoop,4 spreader bars & mounting plates & hardware), then had to do the welding myself,,, sounds reasonable as long as it hasnt been abused and the welds are good.

    What are you putting it into? Is it the kind of factory bar thet mounts to the floor or the wheelwells?

    FWIW, I think I paid almost $150 in DOM just to add on the front hoop to my existing bar. Sounds like a deal to me if it is done well.

    well, it's in the back yard now. factory rear bar with dom front hoop and connectors. appears to be tig welded, very nicely. the only problem is the front pads are jacked up. probably would have to redo them anywho. will post pics tomorrow so just stow the UWOP for now:D
