    Should I keep my T90 and get riding or should I take a few months to save and do a granny gear 4 speed swap?

    I rebuilt my T90 not long ago. I have a Np435 in unknown condition. I don't have any adapters yet.

    If simple trails and just around town then the T-90 if in good shape should be fine. However if the trails are harder, have rock in them, etc. then now would be the time to swap in a granny 4 speed if you feel you could use one or simply want the strength and only want to do it once. I'm not familiar with the type of trails that are in those areas so I'm no help there.

    i personally think you should save money and swap to a 4spd.
    i have the t-90 in mine and will be upgrading to the 420 or 465 asap.
    i even run 5.38 gears and still want lower.
    but to each his own, good luck with whatever you decide:)

    no
    V6 clutch, fork, disc and press plate
    t/o bearing, I don't know
    adapter looks home brew as well as the bearing reainer on the front of the trans; see where it's been welded ?
    prolly a GM type, round or square face depending on what press plate you use.

    Bummer...pulled the shifter off of the tranny to find the gears busted on the input shaft. Guess I'll just buy one from novak.

    How's the cluster gear look? When my T14 broke teeth off the input gear it also chipped up the cluster gear.

    I have a good complete transmission that I just rebuilt. I just needed the long input...

    I saw the gears and I just started putting it back together. I'll probably hangon to the custom welded up cover though as my pilot bearing slides right on.

    I'm the better part of the way through a225/sm465/d18 drivetrain swap and while it has not been an easy job by any means i think the final result will be worth it.

    i ran the T90 for about a year/10,000 miles and it was great, might as well throw it in there while you get geared up for a swap. at least you'll have something to drive/wheel.

    ~~~~~~~
    whoops didn't see this was 2 pages long.
    thats a wild looking adapter plate.
    It might weigh as much as your sm465.
