Custom Dash / Instrument Panels

    Would love to see pics of what you guys have done with your dash/instrument panels - especially custom jobs with aftermarket gauges / gloveboxes, etc.

    Did you buy or make a blank panel or did you weld up holes on the old one?

    Let's see 'em!

    I had a metal fab shop make a blank dash with mounting holes and glove box hole and flanges punched out.Ithen cut holes for AutoMeter gauges,radio,speakers,switches,heat[​IMG]

    [​IMG]er controls,and indicater lamps.

    they also made it out of heavier gauge metal.the steering is mounted independant of the dash.

    I like this one. And I think you could use the upper and lower bars to tie into the A tubing of the cage.

    I made a custom panel out of aluminum plate using Autometer guages. I then cut a hole in the dash to mount it too.

    A man after my own heart, and back, head, shoulder, hip and anything else that gets maingled while working under the dash. I had a simular Idea for my next rewire, but I really like how you did the blocks on it too.

    i like the idea of a removeable center panel.makes changing bulbs ect a lot easier.i think i'll go with a smaller hole,like the m38s.
