    What's mounted in the dash? <edit> Never mind. I see that a plate mounts to the front of the dash in the original latch holes.

    Looks like you could make them from aluminum plate. Similar knobs are available from Small Parts Inc and maybe Grainigers or MSC.

    Yeah you could make these. My original stock ones weren't holding the windshield down after I put in a new frame-windshield cowl. And I was making that aluminum dash so I thought I'd get those. Like I said before, expensive and they work.

    Actually now that I remember, I had to Dremel them slightly to have their holes line up with my dash. For some reason they weren't simply remove the old ones and plop these on. But when is that ever the case with these things?
