    Hello from N. Mississippi.
We moved to be near our grandchildren in the Memphis area so I had to sell my CJ5 project ($800 for the complete jeep plus all extra parts including winch and rotisserie).
Long story made short, I only have my 2A conversion to play with now.
I want to change the 11" rear drums that are cam (old style) operated to 10" self adjusting. I have new discs in front.
The question is: since I'm going to install a proportioning valve and dual brake light switches coming out of a dual MC do I need to leave the RPVs in the system? Now I have a 2# front and stock (10#?) rear.
    Thanks,
    Tommy

The 2# for the front discs is an add-on. The one for the rear came with the MC.

2 lb. for the front disc and 10 lb. for the rear drums should work hunky dory.

Does the MC ever have a RPV in it? I have a new single chamber MC and am having some pumping up issues with my brakes, thinking of adding 2# and 10# RPV's to my system. Ideally, where should they be located along the line system (as close to the MC as possible? as close to the T's to go to each wheel? etc.) And does the MC ever have a RPV in it that I would need to worry about?

I plan to plumb this set-up with the RPV's between the MC and the proportioning valve.
If this is not the correct way I hope someone will let me know soom.
    Thanks,
    Tommy

RPVs I've seen were seated inside the threaded outlets on the mc. Just a nickel-sized disc IIRC. Kept the pressure in the entire line.
