76-86 hardtop on 67 cj5

    I have heard you can swap the windshield so that you can use a 76-86 hardtop. Whats involved in this swap, pretty basic? I have searched 118 pages and found nothing! Im still searching for random information about my jeep but I figured I would just ask!

    You can do this, as noted the windshield frame must be changed to the '76 and newer. You can only use up to an '83 hard top as you must use a CJ-5 hard top and they quit making CJ-5's in '83. A CJ-7 hard top is too long and has the wrong door opening shape.
