I have a 59 cj5 with a dana 30 front end. Has anyone done this using normal parts and not the expensive kits. If so if you could let me know what you used I would appreciate. You can email me the info at krisoneal@hotmail.com. Any info will be helpful.

    Thanks

Did you try the search function or Technical Library? This has been covered many, many times.

Technical library has a full write up. Basically you'll need, backing plates/caliper mounts from solid axle Chevy K1500, calipers from same, 1 1/8" rotors from'76-'77 jeep cj5, 10 new longer lug nuts, flexible brake hose to fit between calipers and brakelines and maybe some machining (surface back of hub).:v6:
