Windshield seal question

working on the windshield frame and glass. just opened the package containing the new seal. never seen one like this before, it is a straight piece, not glued into a loop. also appears to be a one size fits all where I hafta cut to length and glue.

Question 1: what do I glue it with?

Question 2: should I apply a slealer between the seal and glass/seal and frame lip?

Question 3: who played Pig Killer in beyond thunderdome?

 

Just had a new windshield installed. No sealant was used. I did notice a little leak where ends came together. I was thinking of using rubber cement. Or maybe going back and having them fix it.

 

Glue it with Goop Marine, the normal stuff would probably work but being that you are in such a saltwater environment Marine might not be too much overkill.
