Okay, a Tuned Port 350 and a year and a half restoration later and I finally have the MB back on the (off) road. Lots of work but well worth it. The attached picture is of my Dad and my son going for a drive. My Dad raced this Jeep all over the mid-west from 1968-1977. Pretty tough little Jeep back in the day. I replaced the hopped up 327 with a much more trail freindly TPI 350. Everything else is exactly like it was when he won the Brush Run 101 in 76. In a moment of stupidity I turned his Dana 18 X-fer case with a tapered roller intermediate into a two piece unit. Ouch! It took the next 18 years to talk him in to letting me get it out and fix it. Tons of fun updating the engine bay and fixing all the leaks though.

Way cool! Glad to see it running again.

Oddly enough, I sold a set of 7 Desert Dogs about 9 months ago. VERY hard to find. We use 'em in Racing in the PNW when we can find decent ones. The Race Jeep had a rough pair on the back when it left last weekend...
