pinion nut size

    does anyone know the above? My socket sets biggest is 1-1/16"
    Need to remove the pinion yoke as I have developed a vibration in the rear and the yoke appears to be "cocked" slightly when spinning the wheels.
    I just need to know what size socket to buy.

    I believe going from memory they are 1 1/8". Problem is I don't usually look at the size of the socket, I just grab the one that fits:rofl:.
