It could stand the extra half inch out front, so I suppose I'll just weld them on, and hope they don't balloon out. Thanks!

Well, no major progress, bondo is done, just needs 220 sanding then some primer, floors somewhere in there too
    Z chrome sounds tempting too...
Tried, lappy recorded, horn's a little deeper than it sounds but it's good
    [IMG]
Not the original horn, seems 60's vintage, but it is neat.
And that's all I have to report.

Wilhelmina's chassis is at the shop getting brake lines installed (at request of me madre) and steering plate welded one (110 Mig isn't going to cut it)
    But yeah
    I'll let the pictures speak

I've got perfectly new MDpoopie floors and vintage WO body floors with out major damage.
Which is gonna be cut up to help the other?

    Oh yeah,
I rediscovered plasma cutting, pulled the machine out and I actually got it to work it only blew the breaker 5 times instead of every 2 minutes like it used to.
The electrician is going to run a 110v 30a line for that and the chop saw.
He asked if I want the plama to take 220 instead, or 230 or 240, what-the-heck ever you call it now.
Should I do it? My machine has the capability to take it...

If your machine will take the 240v, by all means, DEFINATELY DO IT! No more breaker pops and it will act like a completely different machine.

Yes. Run a 220v line while the electrician is there. Many more options that way. You can upgrade to a better welder in the future too. Or a big compressor. Or a big old airconditioner unit... So many options.

I've got 3 220 outlets on 2 circuits, I have a tombstone as well as a big Husky compressor and that UniSaw you see in the background, so I'm ready for the 220 plasma. It <should> have the capability to run 220, but he'll look further into detail. It says rated 220 o nthe side.

Oh, and, the real kicker is Dad has a few weeks off starting this coming friday, whatever the heck day that is... So...He wants to go to Moab on the motorcycles. I want to go in the jeep but as you can see it's not there yet.
But, if I really get my but in high gear he has some days off starting 8/9 and maybe wants to go then. I start school 8/12 (if I do start school again) so he said leave 8-10, go up there wheel, wheel 8-11, head home around noon. Which sounds more appealing? Jeep or Cycles? And at my pace, do you think the jeep will be wheelable by August? Hmmmmmmm...

I'm filthy and incredibly happy with his work and what I did for the bumper/winch. Just needs trimming in the opening in the bumper, and a bit of synthetic rope.

Ah..ok. For some reason I was picturing the MC totally inset into the frame. That's not so bad. Is the MC fitting and bellhousing clearance as close as it looks in the pics?

Looking good though...it'll be a sweet flattie.

Oh my yes... It is super close. I think he did the impossible, the CJ2A guys say don't even try it, because the banjo is too close to the bell. He did it before I read that, so I told him he did the impossible, he just smiled and said anything is possible.
But, it looks superb. When I saw it it didn't have the engine in so I had no idea why he needed to put the notch in.

Looks real nice - you might want to put a spacer on that top bolt for the steering box. That will allow it to tighten flat against the frame and ear. The way it is, it might torque the ear and break in the future.

Just playing with ideas here... I'm doing 1 daylighter and 2 tractor flood light on the front of the Jeep. Yes, it will look unbalanced, but it will fit my needs better. 2 floods because it doesn't go fast, plus the pencil in case far view is needed.

Now looking at TSC they have "Tractor paint" as well. I kind of like Massey Ferguson Gray, instead of the tan I would have also liked. It says fade resistant, wear proof (it is implement paint after all R))
I still have epoxy primer to go on. But, why wouldn't I want that instead of a acrylic enamel?
