What year did fender flares appear?

    Are they stock on a 73. Or were they on the Renegade models? Thanks for any help!

    AFAIK only Renegade models. I know '72-'75 Renegades had a special lip inside the rear wheel wheels for the fender flares to screw to. Nickmil

    I'm quite certain that my brother's '73 Super Jeep came from the dealership with flares.
