To revive an old thread I would like to delve into the headlight relay thing on that website above. With my new battery and the powermaster alternator installed when I turn the lights on it still pulls the voltmeter down to just under 14 with everything else on. With those headlight relays installed would that prevent this????
If so, I'm not quite sure how a relay works. Do you wire directly from the battery to the relays and then tie into the normal headlight wiring??? This seems like the answer, but I need more help understanding relays. I should probably check the voltage at the back of the headlights before I do this right???
