    Ok, old thread I know, but I figured this is the right place for the questions I have. I’d like to get some more detailed information on the rearview mirror so I can find or make one that is close to correct.

    Can someone tell me the bolt size, pitch and length? Ideally some pictures of the mirror and attaching hardware would be great as well.

    Second question is did you restore the one you had or did you get a replacement? If you got a replacement, can you tell me where you were able to find one?

    Looking online it seems the mirror off a late 30 Chevy truck appears to be close, but I’m not totally sure since I can’t compare them directly.

    I used a mid 50's chev truck mirror, I'll try to get some pics up tonight.

    The mirror came with a 5/16" stud & as it didn't look like it would be very adjustable mounted right against the windshield I made up an arm with a #10 ball stud in the end to fit the hole in the center of the frame.
