    Is there any way of finding out what year cj5 body that I have. This body is no longer on this frame(78)

    without the vin number, it can be narrowed down to a few year window, better pics will be needed. the cowl vent puts it in the newer than 71 catagory IIRC.

    yeah youre gonna need to check your vin plate. Its located on the firewall below the master cylinder

    looks to be later than a '75.

    '77 or '78?

    Here is the vin # j3f835th33137. I had a this body on a 78 frame and did not fit well at all. It is registered as a 73 cj5
