it must be the angle of the pic but there is more then a inch between the positive side and the fender.

which tube bender did u buy from harbor frieght?

 

the 12 ton bende, it uses and bottle jack and i think it was like $69.

 

does it work well? have u built a cage with it?

 

no never built a cage. it works well on think wall pipe but not so good in thin stuff.

 

Does it resemble this one by chance? I have used this one to bend 2" dia. .187 drill stem, which I had used for building a cage for my '84 Cherokee. (as pictured in my webshots link) Yes, these benders are very capable of medium to fairly heavy duty use, I bent the bottom plate with the drillstem though.R)

 

this whole creation was built with a bender like that.
