Looks NICE ! I'm headed that way too, some day. I'll have to have someone bend some tube for me though. What size tubibg did you use ? I just wish someone made them more affordable than the ones you can order. Ahhh, another project, for another day. Definitely post pics when they are finished !

I got the bender from harbor freight, its a 12 ton bender the one with the bottle jack and it does good on think wall pipe not so much on thin stuff. I used 1" pipe i had laying around and it worked great. I got all my tubing bent and cut last nigh, just need to weld it together put some sheet metal on it. then comes building some fender wells to keep the dirt out. I need a sheet metal brake and dont have one, anyone have plans on how to build your own? ill post some pics when i get them done.

well tonight i got the passenger side fender and well done, i took out the stock battery tray and made one that fit into the fender well and got it welded up and it looks good. had to stop when the welder ran out of gas, kinda throws a wrench into things for now till i can get the tank filled. Oh well ill post some pics when i get done.

Not to add to the amount of work you have done, but this would be a great 'tech' write-up. I think they look great.

Your fenders came out very nice. Your jeep seems to be a whole lot straighter than mine. I am really struggling with the whole mangled body/frame/nothin straight on the thing problems. I have hopes of getting finished up tonight, at least to the point of paint. Could you post some pics of your battery installed plz.

How much would it cost me to have you build me a set??? Those turned out awesome.

I think you could start a business building fenders, I especially dig the battery box!!

Man, those look sweet.. Only thing I noticed was how close your positive side post was to the metal fender. Do you have some kind of insulation between the front of the battery and fender?
