I did a search and found some good info here for doing this but I could not see any pictures. Here is what I got: mid seventies waggie d44 front axle spring under pads narrowed both sides to match 68 CJ width, moser resplined my shafts, replaced spindles with ford set-up to get proper bolt pattern, disc brakes etc. etc. Now I need to build new tierod and draglink set-up and would really love to see pictures of either custom rod end tierods and drag links or oem ends and custom set-ups. I have converted to saginaw with a 72 CJ5 bracket and late 90's tj power steering box. My knuckles are such that the tie-rod sits on top of the arm. I am struggling on how to attach the drag link and was looking for some pictures and some recommendations or advice on what to do here.

    Thanks
    Todd

There are three easy ways to go here. High steer, which means bucks, but would solve your problem and get tie rod and drag link out of the way. Use CJ knuckles which will fit right on the "C" of your Wagoneer housing and with a little re-working will fit all your brakes and spindles then you can use your existing steering links. Last, build custom tie rods and drag link. If using the Waggie knuckles you won't be able to use the CJ tie rod ends at the knuckle as the taper in the knuckle is too big. What a lot of people do is have the stock tie rod end cut down and re-threaded on the end to fit the width of the housing. Then their drag link connects to the tie rod and can be built with the waggy tie rod end on one end and CJ or whatever end you need on the other of the drag link. Sorry I don't have pics here. I am going to try to resurrect this thread. I think I have found my solution but I need to get one tapered bushing that the "tie rod flip kits" come with. Basically, I think you drill out your existing tapered hole and insert a new bushing with the taper going the way you want it. Doe anyone have a source for supplier for these bushings? I have done a search and found a few but their price for one was quite high. Any help would be appreciated.
