transmission/t-case Lubrication

    I changed out my gear oil in my trany and t-case this weekend to 85-140 and now my transmission doesn't want to shift into fourth...it grinds. Also, my overdrive doesn't shift freely either. Would heavier oil cause this problem? Thanks.

    Yes. Synthetics can cause similar issue also. Use regular old 85/90 dinosaur oil. Nickmil
