I was looking at the 1970 frame i got to swap under my jeep. and i noticed that there was no tube on the bottom of the frame for the pedals to mount to. How do the pedals work for the the later run of the early cj5??

The tube mounts to the pivot ball on the side of the trans; maybe without a drivetrain, there is nothing to hold the tube up, so it was removed. I've got the complete '70 setup if you're short some pieces.

oh no, i am not going to use the old setup, i have hanging peals, i was just curious to how it was setup. My current frame has the mount under the frame that the pedals pass thru, the new one is missing this mount, so either it was taken off already. but it is one less thing for me to torch off the frame
