AMC 20 axle, will 11" Brakes fit?

    Will 11" brakes from an AMC 20 axle work on either the front or back of my '66

    I dont think so. the model 20 had a 4 bolt flange in the rear. The early axle is 6 bolt. Might be able to redrill but i am not sure.

    No. The backing plate offset is different. The drums will interchange but not the backing plate. Drums will work because the flange offset is different on the 20 from the 44 so they had to offset the backing plate to compensate. Nickmil
