t 19 adapter plate

    is the adapter plate from a t 19 and a t 18 the same.bob

    Nope. The T-19 has the reverse idler shaft in a different location in the case. The adapter reflects this in the cutout for the end of the shaft. That is, if you are talking about a stock adapter, not aftermarket. Most aftermarket adapters allow for either T-18 or T-19 bolt up. The other thing is T-19's that I've seen had the transmission mount bolt up on the case itself so no provision on the adapter. The T-18's had the transmission mount bolt up on the adapter.     thanks nickmil.it was in the back of a scout that was for sale.i thought it was
    a transmission that had gone bad that i could get cheap.i'm still new to what interchanges on the desirible manual transmissions.bob
