A build forum? Great idea guys! I added a bunch of pics up above.

My house flooded the other night. Been here waiting on contractors most of the day. During my break periods, I've managed some time in the garage. Working on body mounts. Here are some underbody teasers:

The spots are just dirty water from wet sanding:

Tub is mounted. Gas tank in but not plumbed. Batt in but not wired. Started to bolt up some accessories. Going to really slow down on progress for a while now because I need to fab some things up, which usually takes me 3 or 4 tries to get it right.

Clint, I love it. My first build was a '73 Firebird painted a Ditzler color--Camel Tan Iridescent. Almost an exact match (at least how my display shows it). It went well w/ every color we put up to it, but being conservative I chose a nutmeg color for the upholstery and black for most of the exterior trim (a bronze window tint). One ex-wife later it's gone, but I really loved that car (I digress)...:v6:

Keep staring at my brake lines hoping they'll bend, flare and bleed themselves.

Been a while since I posted. "Life got in the way." Haven't done a whole lot to the CJ since Sparky got the motor running. I'm down to just a little more wet sanding on the hood and dash, then clear coating them and I'm done with body panels. Then just need to shoot the windshield black, fabricate a linkage bracket for the OD/D18 and I think it's ready to wire up and bolt back together. (No, the air cleaner is not permanent.)

Yup. I've already been told that might be problematic. I got that before I joined this board. Been thinking about changing it, but it's kinda 'spensive to do now. Got a couple good one's in mind.

    Yup.

Here's the result of my little sticker project. VIN and shift pattern courtesy Bear Creek Survey. The OD sticker I scanned and had reproduced locally.

Also got my hood painted, although it took me 4 tries and still needs wet sanding. (Not quitting my day job anytime soon. )

Starting to look like a JEEP again. Man I can't wait to get this on the road again. Driveshafts are in. Might pull it out into the driveway later this week and do the camshaft break-in, bleed brakes, and finish wiring.
